Extra Megapixels - do you need it

The current trend with digital cameras is increasing the megapixels. This was fine a few years ago when the resolution was poor. Now, digital cameras are starting from 5 megapixel plus and I believe this is more than enough for the average user. If you are deciding to purchase a camera for the extra resolution think twice before you hand over your money. Remember the marketing guys are out there to make you spend big!!
